Welcome to The Noware to InParticular Railroad. The NIP was formed in 2005 to manage part of a secondary bridge route through Montana between Chicago and the west coast. It stretches over 200 miles of some of the most beautiful country in the world and employs nearly 400 people. Our employees are passionate about what they do and work at various locations across  Montana from Noware to InParticular.

The NIP’s core business is not running trains but the maintenance of the right of way, management of rail traffic, path franchising and the collection of passenger and freight tariffs on behalf of our associated railroads.  It continually strives to be the Best of the Best in safety, customer satisfaction and ingenuity. In addition to being an important link in transcontinental shipments of grain, forest and other products; NIP also manages critical service to the many industries in Montana. We provide essential access from the remoteness of Montana to points anywhere in the United States and many locations worldwide.

We are entrusted by our associated partner railroads and the people and communities in Montana to provide excellent customer service safely each day. In addition to managing the movement of freight and passengers , we also believe in giving back to the communities where we do business. Annually, we contribute nearly $1 million as donations to many local charities.
